Workshop sessions

The 2007 workshop was held on the campus of the College of the Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine, From Aug 19 (Sunday check in)-Aug 25 (Saturday departure). It is an absolutely breathtaking waterfront setting, a short drive to Acadia National Park and downtown Bar Harbor. See the website www.coa.edu for more information

The small private school specializes in human ecology and the marine environment. There are several gardens on the campus, a pier, a natural history museum, and many of the old 1850-1900 mansions that are so prevalent in this part of Maine.

Participation in this workshop was limited to members of the Nature Printing Society.  Information on becoming a member is available by following the link.

There was comfortable dormitory style housing, 2/room with bathrooms close by. There was also a kitchen for every floor and wing of the 2-story dormitory. Meals were in the cafeteria.
